In 2003, Barb, along with a team of Food Service staff, researched numerous software companies. After narrowing it to the top two, the team traveled to Atlanta to visit with Horizon. Very soon after, the District purchased Horizon’s Software and equipment. Barb has been actively involved with Horizon over the past seven years.

Pascagoula School District is located on the East end of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  We have 18 school sites and serve approximately 6,000 lunches and 2,900 breakfasts per day.

Horizon’s Advisory Board was established to maintain an effective communications link between Horizon and its customers.  The objective of the Board is to provide us with a greater understanding of the ongoing needs of our K-12 customers and how to better serve them. 

The individual members of the Board are selected from diverse districts all over the country, contributing their insight and experience to help guide Horizon’s strategic planning in the interest of providing innovative products, outstanding customer service, and leading the K-12 food service technology industry.
