  • Joined Food & Nutrition Services as the FNS Systems Support Technician. Responsibilities included reporting, marketing, promotions, software upgrades, support, and troubleshooting, equipment management, training and certification requirements.

In 2003, Barb, along with a team of Food Service staff, researched numerous software companies. After narrowing it to the top two, the team traveled to Atlanta to visit with Horizon. Very soon after, the District purchased Horizon’s Software and equipment. Barb has been actively involved with Horizon over the past seven years.

Pascagoula School District is located on the East end of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  We have 18 school sites and serve approximately 6,000 lunches and 2,900 breakfasts per day.

  • Executive Director of Food and Nutrition Services for the Jefferson County School District in Golden, Colorado. Jeffco is the largest school district in Colorado with 157 schools and over 84,000 students.
  • Two years as the Food Service Director in Boulder, Colorado and 21 years as the Food Service Director for the Matanuska Susitna Borough School District in Wasilla, Alaska
